Polegate Town were unlucky to lose in the 2010 Eastbourne FA Challenge Cup final to Eastbourne Town, having lead the match 1-0 for the majority of the game thanks to a headed goal from Olly Waller (his first of the season), but 2 late goals saw Eastbourne Town take home the trophy.
